It’s been a tumultuous year for me, and I have to admit I haven’t been as consistent with my writing as I have been in the past.

The last 6 months have been consumed with my mother’s illness and death, my youngest son getting married, and preparing my home to be placed on the market. Life happened! I’m sure many of you can relate. Hopefully, your circumstances weren’t as drastic, but life happened.

I can’t get those days back and probably wasted hours on reminiscing and what iffing. (I made that word up but most of you can follow it :-))

What I can do is pull up my bootstraps and set my fingers to the keys. I can start up where I left off. Yesterday’s gone but tomorrow and hopefully many, many, more tomorrows are in my future.

Don’t let your circumstances control your future. It’s okay if you fall off the wagon, but don’t wallow in the mud too long.
